The Excellence of PULSE™ Engineering Resins

PULSE ExamplePULSE PC/ABS has an ideal combination of mechanical, thermal and rheological properties and impresses with its high resistance to heat distortion, its high impact strength and notched impact strength as well as its stiffness and good dimensional stability. PULSE PC/ABS is used, for example, to produce blow-moulded backrests employing Styron’s patented technology, thus making a contribution towards lowering car weight, as well as for structural parts, such as instrument panels.

PULSE GX50 is a new and even more economical mixture of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) in a blend ratio which provides outstanding resistance to heat distortion as well as high impact strength at low temperatures.

PULSE GX50 is suited for interior components in cars, such as consoles or glove compartments. The material is available in standard black, coloured or in natural for self-coloring, therefore allowing for the individual design of car interiors.

Other advantages of PULSE GX50, as for all PULSE PC/ABS grades include its low odour and low carbon emissions (VOC).
