Sprintan™ from Styron is a wide variety of applications, including the production of tires, footwear, conveyor belts, hoses, flooring and adhesives.
Solid solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber, produced by anionic batch polymerization is available in a wide variety of styrene and vinyl contents. S-SBR provides excellent balance between wet grip, rolling resistance and dry handling in silica and carbon black compounds for high-performance tires. They are also used for the manufacture of high quality technical rubber goods.
