The Continuous Mass Process for Better Sheet

Manufacturers looking to make a better opaque sheet need to look for a better resin. MAGNUM™ ABS resins from Stryon are known for their excellent balance of features such as toughness, as well as its extrusion and thermoforming processability.

What makes MAGNUM ABS resins better than other ABS resins? They are made from a continuous mass polymerization process. The mass process results in a low level of impurities, resulting in a greater lot-to-lot consistency, low base color, low gel level and excellent thermal stability. As a result, your finished sheet surface will look better and your extrusion process costs will be lower. And because the mass process is so clean, you'll have more flexible options for recycling excess materials from your extrusion and thermoforming process.

We offer a broad portolio of MAGNUM ABS resins to meet all your application needs, including our latest development - MAGNUM MATT ABS, a distinct new resin that enables you to benefit from the excellent properties of MAGNUM ABS resin even when offering matt finishes.
