Vice President and General Manager of Plastics

Paul Moyer is Vice President and General Manager of Plastics for Styron, responsible for the global leadership, long term strategy, profit & loss, asset management, investments, technology development priorities and resource deployment for polycarbonates, compounds and blends, and styrenics.

Prior to joining Styron, he served as General Manager for the Polycarbonate and Compounds & Blends and Styrenics businesses for The Dow Chemical Company.  During his more than 24 years of service with Dow Chemical, he served in a variety of business leadership, asset management, marketing and sales roles.

Moyer joined Dow in the Marketing Development Program in 1986. He transferred to the Atlanta Sales Office later that same year as a sales representative for Construction Materials and was named Market Development Manager in the Construction Materials Group in 1989. He was named Product Market Manager for the architectural market in 1990 and assumed the role of North American Product Manager for STYROFOAM™ brand products in 1991. Moyer was named Low Density Polyethylene Product Manager for the Polyolefins & Elastomers Group in 1993. In 1994 he was named Solution Polyethylene Product Manager. In 1997, Moyer assumed the role of North American Solution Polyethylene and INSITE™ Value Center Manager for the Polyethylene Business. He was named Global Commercial Director for New Business Development for Fabricated Products in 2000 and assumed the additional role of Global Business Director for Performance Foams in 2002. In 2004, Moyer was appointed Commercial Vice President with Univation Technologies, LLC, a joint venture between Dow and ExxonMobil where he led the business to sustainable, profitable growth.

Moyer holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Michigan State University. He attended the School of Executive Education at Babson College in 1995, The American Graduate School of International Management at Thunderbird in 1999, IMD - The International Institute for Management Development, Lausanne, Switzerland in 2001, and the H. H. Dow Academy in 2008.

Moyer also serves on the boards of Americas Styrenics, LLC, and Sumika Styron Polycarbonate, LTD. He is based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
