Vice President, Feedstocks and Corporate Services

Jeff Denton is Vice President, Feedstocks and Corporate Services for Styron. Denton reports to Chris Pappas, CEO of Styron, and is responsible for leading carve-out activities and directing the interface between Dow and Styron for key transition services, business services and other implementation activities. He also will be responsible for the Feedstocks and Purchasing organizations of Styron, which are still under development. Longer term, he will be responsible for exploring and framing future strategic growth opportunities for Styron.

Jeff joined Dow in 1987 in the Commercial Development Program. In 1988 he transferred to the Cleveland Sales Office, where he served as field sales representative in the Calcium Chloride and Magnesium Hydroxides business. In 1994, he returned to Midland as a market research specialist, and later the same year, he became market development manager in the medical market Engineering Plastics and Styrenics business. In 1996 Jeff joined the Polystyrene business as senior marketing manager for Polystyrene North America, and was named North America Polystyrene product director in 2004. In 2007 and 2008 he led commercial aspects of the creation of the America Styrenics JV. Later in 2008, he was named director, joint venture implementation for Basic Plastics, where he worked on asset-light joint venture implementation activities and negotiated product agreements.

Jeff earned a BA in Business Administration from Alma College in Alma, MI, in 1987.
