Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
John A. Feenan was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Styron in January 2012 and is responsible for corporate financial reporting, audit, treasury, tax, internal controls and corporate governance. He reports to Christopher D. Pappas and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Feenan served as Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer of the JMC Steel Group having been appointed to that role in February 2007. Mr. Feenan was responsible for financial reporting (internal and external), internal audit, treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, pensions, Sarbanes Oxley, risk management, internal controls and corporate governance. Additionally, Mr. Feenan served as a member of the disclosure, compliance, pension and ethics committees and an active participant in the Board and Audit Committees.
Prior to the JMC Steel Group, Mr. Feenan was the Chief Financial Officer of HB Fuller (NYSE: FUL) a $2B global, specialty chemical firm. In that role, Mr. Feenan was responsible for financial reporting, SEC filings (10K's/10Q's), internal/external audit, treasury, tax, M&A, budgets, pensions, Sarbanes Oxley, internal controls and corporate governance. He was also a member of the executive/diversity and pension committees.
Previously, John Feenan joined Jostens in 2001 as senior vice president and CFO. He was responsible for corporate reporting and control, internal and external audit, corporate development, treasury, tax, and investor relations.
Prior to Jostens, Feenan held chief financial officer positions with several industrial manufacturing firms. He started his career at the IBM Corporation in New York.
Mr. Feenan earned his bachelor's degree in business and economics from St. Anselm College and his master's in business administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma.
